Originally designed to care for people with acute heart attacks, Our coronary care unit (CCU) provide critical care to people with acute coronary syndrome, life-threatening cardiac arrhythmias, severe heart failure, and people recovering from cardiac surgery.
The Critical Care Medicine Department at AR Multi speciality hospital provides multidisciplinary critical care service with representation from the Departments of Internal Medicine, Anesthesiology, Surgery, Neurology, and Pediatrics. Our CCU is staffed around the clock by nurses, technicians, and physicians specially trained to take care of people with serious cardiac conditions.
Our ICUs are designed to prevent cross infection and ICU psychosis. The type of treatment offered is based upon the unique medical needs of the patient. People in a CCU will frequently need specialized testing, and commonly used tests often can be performed right in the CCU itself, including bloodwork, electrocardiograms, echocardiograms, and chest X-rays. All the beds have a cardiac monitoring system which caters to electrocardiographic monitoring.
Our facilities Include:
- 6 bedded cardiac ICU
- Comprehensive Cardiac Screening
